Anne Kavanagh

Founder and Managing Director

Prior to forming Kavanagh Consulting, Anne held leadership positions in investment banking at PaineWebber, Prudential Securities, Salomon Brothers, NatWest Markets (the US investment banking arm of National Westminster Bank PLC), and Drexel Burnham Lambert. Anne has been responsible for executing over $50 billion of transactions primarily for healthcare, retail/consumer and technology companies. 

Anne graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in finance and marketing from Boston College School of Management. She also received the Boston College top scholar-athlete award, “BC EAGLE of the Year “and in 2013 Boston College inducted Anne into the Boston College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Jason J. Preator, CPA

Managing Member

Prior to Kavanagh Consulting, Jason served as Head of M&A and Senior Vice President of Finance at Essilor a public company over AU € 22 billion in market capitalization. Jason has a background in Big 4 public accounting and at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP served in the Transaction Services and Merger and Acquisition Group. Jason has also held leadership roles at multinational companies, providing expertise in financial and strategic planning, Treasury management, and business development.  

Jason holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from Brigham Young University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”).

Lauren Rivet

Vice President

Prior to joining Kavanagh, Lauren held key financial and auditing roles at Essilor of America, ORIX USA Corporation, and Ernst & Young, demonstrating a deep expertise in financial modeling, due diligence, and integration. With over a decade of experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate integration, Laure plays a critical role at Kavanagh Consulting, where she specializes in financial analysis, transaction maximization, and facilitating smooth client transitions during the M&A process. 

Lauren holds a Master of Accounting from Southern Methodist University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”).

Ellen Haag

Vice President

Ellen has over 20 years of experience in healthcare consolidation and strategic business solutions. As Vice President at Kavanagh Consulting, she now focuses on supporting clients in the dental space, helping doctors navigate retirement and transition solutions with tailored, equitable strategies.

Previously, Ellen held leadership roles at Essilor of America, Broadmoor Stars, LLC, and Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, where she developed expertise in private equity strategies, sales, and mergers and acquisitions. 

She is also the founder of SEA the Vision, a nonprofit providing vision care and education.

Ellen holds a B.S. in Business Education from Concord University.

Lucia Malinak

Associate

Prior to Kavanagh Consulting, she worked as a Summer Investment Analyst at Singh Capital Partners and IMC Slovakia where she was involved in-depth financial modeling, research and presenting investment findings to committees. Currently an Associate at Kavanagh Consulting, Lucia focuses permanently on financial modeling, due diligence and strategic investment analysis. 

Lucia holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Wyoming, which she attended on a full tennis scholarship. Lucia is fluent in English, German, and Slovak.

Chloe Kavanagh 

Chief Administrative Officer

Prior to joining Kavanagh, Chloe held roles at Epsilon, where she drove CRM campaign strategies in the healthcare industry and worked independently as a certified Nutrition Health Coach. She is skilled in marketing analytics, financial assessments, and client relations. Chloe brings a strategic blend of expertise in financial analysis, valuations, and administration to Kavanagh Consulting.

Chloe holds a B.B.A. in Operations & Information Management from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
